It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for.
Today, we’re going to talk about how to backup your WordPress website & blog by using Backup plugin. If you’re tech-savvy and you don’t want to use the plugin, you can backup all your files manually via FTP. I might write a blog post about how to backup your site without a plugin one day 😉
Let’s dive in, shall we?!

How to Backup Your WordPress Blog & Website
Again, I highly recommend you to set up automatic backups of your WordPress site. Check if your hosting provider* offers website backups, but still, have your own backup files.
1. Install UpdraftPlus Plugin – if you don’t know how to install plugins on your WordPress site, check out my recent post about it

2. Once you installed and activated UpdraftPlus plugin, go to Settings > UpdraftPlus Backups

3. Now look at the tabs above and click Settings. Here you’re going to set a backup schedule and where your backup files will be stored. As you can see on a screenshot below, I have set up daily backups to Google Drive. In order for it to work, you need to authorize Google Drive first. They have a great tutorial on how to do that here

4. Scroll down to Save changes and it’s done
The best part about using the UpdraftPlus plugin to backup your WordPress blog and website is that you only have to set it up once and it works automatically, without you even thinking about it.
Do you regularly backup your WordPress blog & website?
