Right around the time when my husband and I were planning our wedding last year, I got a brand inquiry from Abigail Brooks from Coach Abby. I couldn’t be more excited since Abby is a relationship coach helping women find their husband with her no-stress and fun approach.
Today I’m happy to present the brand design that I designed for Coach Abby. Let’s dive in, shall we?!
All right, let’s dive into details!
I love Abby’s description on Facebook about her brand so let me quote that: “Coach Abby works with single women, never married with no children attract their God-fearing husband and start the family they desire by implementing her proven C.O.R.E. formula to help quickly position women in front of his missing half. Coach Abby believes that dating should be fun and not stressful. She uses her proven D.A.T.E. method that puts women directly in front of marriage-minded men that will lead to a forever relationship.”

The brand highlights the unique style of the business, shows that true love is possible and that the marriage is achievable.
BRAND DESIGN FOR COACH ABBY
BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN:
1. Logo design
I’ve used a soft script font for a logo design for Coach Abby that naturally flows, as someone would write it without taking the pen off the paper. The main logo includes Coach Abby’s tagline Faith-Based Dating Coach surrounded by two light pink hearts.
2. Alternative logo designs
I designed three alternative logos for Coach Abby. The first one is just like the primary logo, but without the tagline and in the navy blue colour instead of gold. The second and third alt logo are both stack version of the first logo having Coach at the top and Abby at the bottom.
3. Submark designs
Similar to My Paper Printables brand, for Coach Abby I played around with three circle-based submark logos and one in a different shape – heart shape. The first submark features Coach Abby’s initials, hearts and Coach Abby around the circle. The second submark includes a simple cross illustration (since Coach Abby is a faith-based Coach).
The third submark logo (my favourite!) features the heart illustration in the middle and Coach Abby around it. The last but not least submark logo design for Coach Abby is in a heart shape, including the cross and Coach Abby wrote inside of the heart.
4. Colour Palette
As I mentioned before I wanted to showcase the peacefulness of Abby’s brand. Therefore, for the colour palette, I chose soft, neutral colours. The colours represent the maturity of Abby’s target audience and show that they are ready to get married and find the love of their lives.
BRAND COLLATERALS & DESIGN ELEMENTS FOR COACH ABBY
5. IMAGE HOLDER, PIN IT BUTTON, FAVICON
I created a profile image holder for Coach Abby including Hi I’m Abby on a ribbon. Abby can use this ready-made image as her profile image for example on the blog sidebar. The second design element that I created was a pin it button and website favicon.
6. BLOG SIGNATURES & TEXT DIVIDERS
I’ve created two signatures for Abby to use one xo Abby and the second one thank you signature. I also designed heart text dividers her website to divide the paragraphs.
7. WEBSITE BUTTONS
Similar to the 4th submark logo designs, I used the heart shape to create website buttons for Coach Abby. A I’ve created 4 website buttons representing website pages: contact, sales page, about and home.
8. FACEBOOK BRANDING
Abby provided me with a beautiful photo with her family to include on a Facebook cover page image. On the right bottom corner of the cover image, I added the third submark logo.
9. Square post graphics
I created three square post graphics styles to be to use on her social media accounts like Facebook Instagram or Twitter. The first style it’s for how to posts and includes a photo background and colour box overlay with a photo in the background, a colour box with the blog post title and website URL and also the third submark logo.
The second style includes a photo background, stripes-like colour boxes for each of the line of the blog post title and colour box with website URL at the bottom. The third graphic style is for a quote-type post. It includes a photo in the background with a colour overlay on top of it. It also features the second submark logo.
10. Email signature design
I used the same lovely photo of Abby with her family on the email signature design. I also incorporated the main logo design, website address, email address and social media icons.
11. Business cards design
The business cards design for Coach Abby features the main logo on the front and Abby’s profile photo with all the details at the back. The business cards are in the same style as the email signature and Facebook branding to maintain cohesive branding across different media.

I’m so happy with how the brand design for Coach Abby turned out! I must admit that Abby came to me at the most perfect time when I felt so inspired by planning my own wedding. Coming up with this brand was a breath of fresh air to all of the craziness that went into organizing the wedding in 2 months!
And here’s a lovely testimonial from Abby:
“Adrianna is very pleasant and professional to work with. She was personable and made herself available throughout the whole process. She is very knowledgeable in her work and she’s passionate about with she does. She asked very detail questions about my business in order to help create my brand. She was very personable throughout the whole process making sure that I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. Her creativity came alive from her brand questionnaire. If you’re looking for someone with creativity, knowledge and passion about brand identity, Adrianna is the best :)”
